Training for the Marathon

What does it take to run a marathon?  Training for the Marathon requires a healthy body and sound training program to help you build the miles and get your body ready for this amazing race.  Here are some widely used programs. 

Chicago Area Runners Assocation - A very strong marathon training program here in Chicago  is the Chicago Area Runners Association Marathon Training Program (CARA.)
