Join The Miles for Magic - Magic Road Crew

Even if you don’t want to run a half marathon or marathon, we need your help! Whether it’s recruiting runners at the Shamrock Shuffle & Chicago Marathon Expos, helping to distribute t-shirts, volunteering at running events through the spring and summer or being there on Race Day as part of our Magic Road Crew, we need you on our Team! Magic Road Crew members will receive their own special Magic Road Crew T-shirts!  

We are looking for a team of volunteers to help. Opportunities to help are still available in the following areas: 

M4M Marketing Committee: Seeking special assistance in the design and creation of Miles for Magic marketing materials to recruit runners and create awareness about Open Heart Magic and the magic we do for kids in hospitals.  

M4M Special Events Committee: Whether it’s planning a fun run, the kick-off meeting at a local pub or arranging the post race party, we need your special social skills to make it all happen! If you bring a particular kind of “fun” then you are just the person we are looking for! 

M4M Fundraising Committee: Our runners may be first time fundraisers and need all the help they can get. Whether it’s knowing how to use social networks or having a special way to approach your friends and family, we would welcome your experience and perspectives! 

M4M Race Day Road Crew: Save the dates: 9.9.2012 and 10.7.2012! This is all hands on deck to organize and set up the Miles for Magic “cheer stations” and provide runner family and friend support. While you may not be running the miles, it will be a marathon of activity to help everything go smoothly on our runners' big day!
